Maison Scotch – Autumn/Winter 2013 – The Collection

Maison Scotch has developed an exciting collection for Fall Winter 2013, inspired by travel to Morocco, scenes of the Orient, and street style of New York and Paris.
Delivery 07- Orintal Cult.
Maison Scotch looked east for inspiration, infusing the allure
of the orient into edgy street style combinations. Expect a mix
of American cult in modern python prints and baseball colour
blocking, alongside pieces with historic references, such as
Japanese kimono embroideries and decadent Asian artworks.
This delivery’s colour card is a powerful batch of black, poison
green and vintage mint, with an injection of bright shuiro
orange, terracotta and autumnal shades of fig and old rose. Key
fabrics include printed silks and embroideries in pretty blossom
and bamboo designs, oriental jacquards and plenty of texture in
velvet and coloured fake fur.

Delivery 08- Berber Chique
This delivery is all about a mix of the Maison Scotch Parisian
sentiment and Berber inspirations. ‘Berber chique’ is a tactile
collection of materials: knitwear inspired by bohemian rugs,
soft corduroys in autumnal colours, fringe details, textured wool
jackets, fair isle knits and sumptuous silks. The colour card is
soft and nostalgic, ranging from burgundy to blush and olive,
with a bright yellow colour pop here and there. The designers
added a personal element to this season’s photo prints, by digging
into their own archives of photos taken all around the world.
Other T-shirt artworks evolve around natural stones and crystals;
a theme we also see popping up in our line of accessories this
season. A classic story runs throughout, inspired by traditional
tailoring with references to the 60s. Last but not least, all-over
feather prints bring a folk element with an edge.
